Ten months ago, we brought you a free download from a young Canadian pop starlet by the name of Olivia Penalva.
‘Ferris Wheel’ was the fresh, summery track that introduced us to the then-15 year old, who’d already achieved big things in her homeland, including national airplay with a Christmas track and a finalist’s position in the International Songwriting Competition.
Ten months on and Olivia is back with a new single entitled ‘Outshine The Stars’. And once again, she’s offering up a free download.
It’s more international in its feel, overflowing with its message of positivity and hope and Olivia’s vocals are indie-pop sublime; almost reminiscent of those from Lorde, Birdy or even Ellie Goulding.
