French electronic outfit M83 will tour Australia’s East Coast in May in support of their newly-announced seventh studio album ‘Junk’.
The band, led by Anthony Gonzalez (pictured) has been part of the musical landscape for 15 years, but it was only with their last album ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’, released at the end of 2011, that they achieved success on the Australian charts, peaking at No.37.
But the stage is now set for ‘Junk’ to arrive on Friday April 08 via Inertia and the three local shows, in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, kicking off on May 10.
Local favourite Japanese Wallpaper will play the support role for all shows.
Tickets are on sale from 9am local time on Monday March 07.
May 10 : Melbourne (Forum Theatre)
May 14 : Brisbane (The Tivoli)
