Pop queen Madonna will film the last two concerts of the Australian leg of her ‘Rebel Heart’ global tour in Sydney for the DVD release.
The singer kicked off her first Australian visit in almost 23 years last Thursday, with a special one-off ‘Tears Of A Clown’ show at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, before blowing audiences away with two slick shows at the city’s Rod Laver Arena.
The ‘Rebel Heart’ express pulls into Brisbane tonight and tomorrow night, before the curtain comes down on the tour, after more than 80 shows in more than 20 countries, in Sydney on Saturday and Sunday.
According to publicists, Madonna will choose a few fans as her ‘Unapologetic Bitches’ at each of the Sydney shows, presumably to be used in a live video (directed by Danny B Tull and Nathan Rissman) for a future single release.
The taping will form part “of a larger project to be released at a later date”.
