The reign of US pop starlet Meghan Trainor looks set to continue well into 2016, with confirmation from her local label Sony Music that the ‘All About That Bass’ singer will release her new album ‘Thank You’ in mid-May.
And given Australians’ obsession with everything featuring the Trainor name over the past couple of years (check : seven times platinum No.1 single ‘All About That Bass’, double platinum top five smash ‘Lips Are Movin’, double platinum top ten hit ‘Dear Future Husband’, triple platinum No.1 smash ‘Like I’m Gonna Lose You’ with John Legend… Not to mention her double platinum No.1 album ‘Title’), there’s every chance the success will be replicated with her new material.
The project kicked off with the feisty lead single ‘No’, which dropped overnight and is already making its way up the Aussie iTunes chart.
‘Thank You’ is set to be released in both standard and deluxe editions when it drops on Friday May 13.
