• French duo Cassius aren’t monkeying around with their new single ‘Action’, employing the talents of Cat Power and Mike D for their new tune, which dropped digitally at the end of last month. The team at their label Universal remain tight-lipped about what the immediate future may hold, except to say that “further new Cassius material (and familiar faces) will be revealed shortly”.
• Adelaide producer Motez will tour Australia throughout May and June in support of his just-announced ‘Vibe’ EP, due April 01. He’ll kick things off with a show at Fat Controller in his hometown on Friday May 06, prior to making stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle and, finally, Perth on Friday June 03. • Brisbane’s Blurst Of Times Festival will return next month, taking over The Brightside, The Zoo and The Foundry in Fortitude Valley on Saturday April 16.
