US pop duo Chairlift released their third studio album ‘Moth’ back in late January.
The song that sits right slap bang in the middle of its tracklist is the altogether beautiful ‘Crying In Public’, which has now been granted its own music video.
Sonically, its luxe soundtrack and interesting collection of blips, beats and instrumentation underlies Caroline’s soft and delicate vocals, which tell the tale of being so utterly besotted by someone that it results in her crying in public.
Visually, it’s a mix of studio-based images, intercut with Caroline’s escapades on the streets of New York City, which are seemingly so cold that she sheds tears of ice crystals.
Beautiful song, beautiful clip.
