Adam Lambert has seemingly already moved on from his ‘The Original High’ phase, revealing the cover image and title of a new single that will be released at the end of this week.
‘Welcome To The Show’ features the guest vocal appearance of Swedish pop starlet Laleh (who also co-penned the song) and will be premiered live on ‘American Idol’ on the same day as its release.
“I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring,” the singer said in a statement. “I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers… Ali Payami, who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town’, and Swedish star Laleh, who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”
No mention at this stage on action for Australia, but we have a sneaking suspicion you’ll be seeing ‘Welcome To The Show’ at digital retailers from this Friday.
Take a listen to a little teaser of the new track below.

I LOVE what I hear! I just want ADAM LAMBERT to be SOLO on stage when he performs one last time for American Idol! Adam is an American Idol Icon and deserves to have the stage SOLO, unless its with QUeen!
