Fact. Kate Ceberano is one of this country’s most treasured (and still most often underrated) performers.
With a career spanning more than 30 years and a catalogue of hits that have become some of Australia’s most treasured classic, including ‘Brave’, ‘Young Boys Are My Weakness’, ‘Pash’… the list goes on, Kate is an Australian music icon.
Now, however, she’s preparing to launch ‘Anthology’, a spectacular 53 track package highlighting her stunning back catalogue, featuring all the hits that have made her famous, songs from her I’m Talking days, collaborations with some of the country’s best performers (Paul Kelly, David Campbell, Wendy Matthews and, yes, ‘Everything’s Alright’ from ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ with John Farnham and Jon Stevens), along with a carefully hand-picked selection of previously-unreleased and/or unavailable material, including Kate’s cover of ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’, plucked from the soundtrack of ‘The Castle’.
“I’m immensely proud of this collection of songs,” Kate said in a statement. “It is my life’s work in song to date and it’s been amazing revisiting these memories. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as me!”
‘Kate Ceberano : Anthology’ will be released on Friday May 06.

Will says
Excellent to see songs previously ignored in the first Best of album be included here.
Weird to see charted songs like Every Little Thing (1991); You’ve Got a Friend (1993) and the cover Go Your Own Way (which practically sold that Nine Lime Avenue album – ignored…
