This is Melbourne singer/songwriter and model Tré Samuels. And ‘Flying Without You’ is his utterly mesmerising debut single.
Fresh from his time traversing the catwalks of the world, the 17 year old performer returned home with something to say to all those who would take advantage of him and his position in the fashion world.
“‘Flying Without You’ is a song about how people have entered my life with the wrong motive,” Trè explains. “People who show love at the beginning but then show their true colours when things are going great or bad. So this is me saying I’m flying without them either way – and they don’t get to disrupt my flow. AT ALL.”
The track is the first taste of the singer’s six track debut EP, ‘Lost In Translation’, which will drop at the end of the month. And it’s divine; seducing you with its sexy, satin-like groove, which reminds us a little of the intoxicating 1998 Rae & Christian single ‘Spellbound‘.
Imagine a party in a luxurious, upmarket bar where all the pretty people are drinking expensive cocktails and wearing the latest designer threads. This is the soundtrack.
Grab ‘Flying Without You’ now and look for the ‘Lost In Translation’ EP on Friday May 27.
