UK producer Tourist, who’ll release his highly anticipated debut album ‘U’ this Friday, has confirmed his first ever Australian headline shows.
The producer (real name William Phillips) has delivered a succession of amazing collaborations, including ‘Patterns’ (with Lianne Le Havas), ‘Illuminate’ (with Years & Years) and ‘Holding On’ (featuring Josef Salvat and Niia), but he’s also achieved success as a songwriter, co-penning and subsequently winning a Grammy Award for Sam Smith’s smash ‘Stay With Me’.
The live shows, meantime, will hit Sydney and Melbourne only in late August, with the Oxford Art Factory the first cab off the rank on August 25 and Melbourne’s Howler wrapping things up the following night.
Tickets for both shows are on sale from 10am this Friday.
