Vera Blue certainly doesn’t stuff around when it comes to touring commitments, does she?
She’s only just wrapped her latest run of sold-out live dates across the country, she’s about to tour in the support role with New Zealand duo Broods and she’s already announced another batch of shows in August, September and October.
Not only will she be playing bigger venues in the cities she’s just visited, she’ll also be branching out to play other capitals and a selection of regional centres.
The tour kicks off at Ballarat’s Karova Lounge in regional Victoria on Wednesday August 31 before wrapping just over six weeks later at Republic Bar in Hobart.
The announcement coincides with the release of Vera’s new single ‘Fingertips’.
“‘Fingertips’ is quite heavy, but it’s really honest as well,” she says of her new tune. “It’s about social media and unfaithfulness, and what that can do to people. It’s written from the perspective of the person who was doing the wrong.”
Tickets for the tour are on sale from 9am this Friday.
