Justin Bieber sure knows what it takes to make his (mostly female) demographic swoon… Those increasingly frequent topless and/or ass shots on his various social media feeds keep ’em coming back for more.
No coincidence then, that the video for his latest single ‘Company’ begins with a soft lens journey up his torso before we burst into what’s essentially a visual tour diary with the Canadian pop superstar; from the vacations to the beaches, to the stages to the studio, photo shoots, planes, buses, hammocks, shoulders and seemingly everywhere in between.
It makes for entertaining viewing, but it also poses the ol’ chestnuts like… what must it be like to be the centre of so much attention; to be mobbed, stalked, harassed everywhere you go? How does one possibly cope with that level of adulation? And the loss of anonymity where virtually every second of your life is recorded and documented for the sake of entertainment?
We’re sure the world of JB isn’t all the sunshine, lollipops and rainbows that the video for ‘Company’ makes out to be, but it’s one heck of a ride.
