Gorgeous Brissie singer Emma Louise, whose first ever long player ‘Supercry’ recently debuted at No.14 on the ARIA albums chart and who’ll be touring said album nationally throughout October, has delivered the video for the latest single from it, ‘West End Kids’.
On it, she’s once again teamed up with Sydney director Dylan Duclos, who explains the concept behind it.
“I wanted to create an eerie experience for ‘West End Kids’. Everything from the location, to the movements of actors, to the costumes and make-up had to give off a cult-like or uniformed atmosphere.
“The idea is that Emma is some sort of master or puppeteer over the eight kids who live a dull and monotonous life inside her mansion. At any moment, she has the power to take over their bodies.”
It’s beautifully shot in a classic old mansion, but it’s kinda creepy in so many ways as Emma, with her elongated lower limbs, rules over the manacled household’s occupants.
