You’re right… it was only this time last week that reggae outfit UB40 confirmed they’d be back in Australia late next year for a national tour.
Just seven days on, its original frontman (Ali Campbell) has confirmed that his own version of UB40, which also features founding members Astro and Mickey Virtue, will also tour Australia next year, albeit many months prior to the others.
Here for Bluesfest, the band will also play shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth during their visit, along with a gig at Sandstone Point Hotel on Bribie Island.
And they’ll be rolling out the hits, including ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town, ‘Here I Am’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’.
Tickets for all shows are on sale from 10am local time on Friday September 09.
January 10 : Perth (Fremantle Arts Centre)
January 12 : Sydney (Enmore Theatre)
January 13 : Melbourne (Hamer Hall)
