Introducing 17 year old British songstress Abi Hudson and her debut single ‘Fragile Around You’.
The track’s already starting to get a fair bit of traction on tastemaker pop sites across the planet. Any wonder why really; it’s co-produced by Terry Ronald (Kylie, Girls Aloud, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Steve Anderson (Brothers In Rhythm, Britney Spears, Kylie, Take That).
‘Fragile Around You’ begins with a chorus of gorgeous, soft, layered vocals and hushed production, but it bursts to life with top notch pop production around the 39 second mark.
Sprinkle in the lyrics that are universally relatable and you’ve got a pretty addictive little pop piece.
“This track was one of my first co-writes and it was such a great process,” Abi explains. “It’s primarily about the nature of relationships and the feeling of vulnerability that comes with them… really falling for someone is a scary thing, it’s so easy to get hurt and a lot of it is totally out of your hands. Most people have been in this position or something similar, so people will be able to project their own experiences onto the song.”
