Five months on from Eurovision, Dami Im has confirmed that she’ll release her new single ‘Fighting For Love’ on Friday.
The track sees Dami once again teaming with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci from DNA, who wrote her first single ‘Alive’, as well as her Eurovision track ‘Sound Of Silence’.
2016 has been a relatively successful year for Dami; not only did she compete on a grand stage in Sweden, but she also achieved success at home with her Carpenters covers album, ‘Classic Carpenters’.
Now she’s ready to wrap the year with something altogether new.
“I like to think that I’m still looking for different sounds,” Dami explains in a statement.
“I want to explore new things and I think that ‘Fighting For Love’ does that… It feels like a new era for me and my sound.
“I knew this was a great track, and when I sang it, it just felt right.”
‘Fighting For Love’ will be released digitally this Friday, with a physical CD single edition to follow on November 04.

I can’t wait to hear Dami’s new song ‘Fighting for Love’!!! Description: “This is pop music at its finest. Uplifting and emotionally charged, the anthemic dance-pop love song demonstrates an evolution of sound for Dami, a sound that is at once firmly rooted in the now whilst remaining true to the sensibilities and vocal aptitude for which she is best known.” I can feel a chart stopper coming!!
