British soul diva Laura Mvula is one of a handful of artists confirming new Bluesfest sideshows this morning.
She, along with Rickie Lee Jones, Booker T, Gregory Porter and Jake Shimabukuro have all been confirmed for extra live appearances while they’re in the country as part of Byron Bay’s Bluesfest in April.
Laura, who recently released her sophomore album ‘The Dreaming Room’, will play shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to showcase her impressive live vocals, while other artists will play mostly in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Bonnie Raitt has also confirmed a new Brisbane show as part of her visit.
Tickets for all new shows are on sale at 10am AEDT this Wednesday, October 12.
