Too much Brendan Maclean is never enough.
The Sydney-based performer is fast becoming a tour-de-force on the local dance/pop scene, and not afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to his art.
This fearlessness, lyrically, vocally, visually and production-wise has made him one of the more enticing local pop offerings of recent years.
His latest single ‘Never Enough’ is a case in point. It’s lyrically personal, dealing with the breakdown of a relationship (check Brendan’s glances to camera in the latter parts of the clip to know that the feels are oh so real), it’s visually ambitious; colourful, sumptuous (reportedly filmed mostly in an old heroin den), its production is fresh and engaging and Brendan’s vocals are spot on.
See for yourself.
