It’s a Solange video double; the Sony stable superstar serving up not one, but two music videos to kick off your week.
Bothclips were co-created by Solange and husband Alan Ferguson and both contain some rather fabulous imagery, so let’s take a look below, first at the video for ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’.
It begins with our soul/pop darling shaking out her beaded hair, before we’re transported to a softly lit outdoor rotunda, under which she and her troupe of dancers conduct their contemporary routine.
It’s incredibly stylish; looking like a visual version of a photo shoot from a hot shit magazine like ‘Interview’ or ‘i-D’.
The second, for ‘Cranes In The Sky’ (below), follows the same theme; beautiful people wearing beautiful clothes in beautiful locations; all incredible artistic and all visually stunning.
Both tracks are lifted from Solange’s just-released album ‘A Seat At The Table’, a physical edition of which is due before the end of the year.
