Neon Trees frontman Tyler Glenn steps out into the solo spotlight with his new solo single ‘Shameless’, which now comes with a music clip.
It’s a personal piece too; penned entirely by the Californian native and serving as a middle finger to his former church, which he broke up with after coming out as gay two and a half years ago.
That middle finger is extended a little further in the video, which sees Tyler parading in front of a man tied up in a chair who bears more than a passing resemblance to Church Of Latter Day Saints founder Joseph Smith.
It’s a colourful, gritty, glittery piece that gives us a little glimpse into the kind of artist Tyler want to be as a solo star; his debut solo album ‘Excommunication’ is out now.
