The 2016 ARIA Awards performers and special guests have been announced this morning, just one week away from the event’s 30th anniversary.
Some of the country’s biggest names in music will be performing live to honour the awards’ three decades, including John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes and, naturally, ARIA Hall Of Fame inductees Crowded House.
Jessica Mauboy, Flume, Troye Sivan and The Veronicas will do it for the pop side of the spectrum, along with Missy Higgins, Bernard Fanning, Vera Blue, Illy and Violent Soho.
ARIA are telling us that more acts will be announced in the lead-up to next week’s event.
Also confirming their attendance at the 2016 ARIA Awards (though not performing) are both British pop superstar Robbie Williams and, as we hinted on Twitter recently, Sweden’s Tove Lo.
The 2016 ARIA Awards will be telecast on Network Ten next Wednesday Night, November 23.
