New Zealand superstar Gin Wigmore has today released her new single ‘Dirty Mercy’.
The track gives us our first little taste of the singer’s forthcoming fourth studio album, which we’re told to expect early in the new year.
“I made sure I came out swinging with this one,” Gin explains. I had always wanted to write a song with this sort of energy. A little trashy, kinda pissed off, whilst still retaining my love for a solid melody. ‘Dirty Mercy’ is a song that really represented where my head was at when I first began this venture into my next album.”
Recorded in Los Angeles, where she’s currently based, she co-penned the tune alongside former Dropkick Murphys member Marc Orrell and Steve Rusch, who she previously collaborated with on ‘Blood To Bone’.
More details on that new album are due soon, but in the meantime, wrap your goggles around the video for ‘Dirty Mercy’.
