For the past eight and a half years at auspOp, we’ve prided ourselves on promoting and discovering quality homegrown pop talent.
In that time, we’ve brought you more than 15,500 articles championing some of the very best pop on the planet.
Now, however, we’re taking it one step further, with our new Artist Of The Month feature.
Each month, led by our Sydney correspondent Brad Elias, we’ll be showcasing one amazing homegrown artist each and every month.
We believe that each and every one of the artist you’ll see featured have something special; something to make them stand out from the crowd. A quality pop offering.
To kick it all off, we’re thrilled to showcase the gorgeous Carla Wehbe as our very first Artist Of The Month.
Each Thursday throughout November, we’ll bring you a different visual piece, all filmed at Uncanny Valley Studios in Glebe.
There’s some fun stuff, some probing questions and two exclusive acoustic performances, the first of which will debut next Thursday.
In part one, Carla talks about the release of her debut EP ‘Electric Field’, along with the music video for lead single ‘Caught In A Lie’ and, staying on topic, she and Brad play a little game of ‘Two truths, one lie’.
To celebrate our first ever Artist Of The Month feature with Carla Wehbe, she has generously offered to give away TEN downloads of her ‘Electric Field’ EP over the next four weeks. We’ll be choosing winners at random through either Facebook or Twitter;
