The talents of Aussie diva Deni Hines are set to shine once again on her new album ‘Soul Sessions’.
Due at the end of next week, Deni’s new album is a collection of re-interpretations of some of her favourites; songs from the catalogues of Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Jill Scott and even Michael Jackson.
It’s also set to include a reworking of Deni’s own 2001 single ‘Runnin’, penned alongside the Dowlut brothers, plus two other new original songs, one of which serves as the lead single.
According to her publicist, ‘What About Love’ “is a modern Motown homage” and was co-penned by Deni and Sydney-based songwriter and producer Eddie Said.
A five track digital single, featuring an acoustic version and remixes by The Good Girls and Alex Taylor, will drop at the start of next month.
‘The Soul Sessions’ will be released on Friday November 18.
