You can see where this is going, can’t you? Having added second shows in both Melbourne and Brisbane earlier this week to cope with the unprecedented demand for tickets, British superstar Adele has now confirmed a second (and final) Sydney show.
The original Sydney date went on sale at midday on Monday, but demand for tickets ran hot as soon as they went live; more than 90,000 of them being snapped up by eager fans.
So, as with Melbourne and Brisbane, Sydney now gets its own second Adele show, but Live Nation has confirmed that there will be no more Sydney dates after this.
At this stage, Australian Adele fans have snapped up more than 400,000 tickets to her Aussie shows, with the original Sydney date, two shows in Melbourne and one date each in Brisbane and Perth fully sold out.
Tickets for the final Sydney date are on sale from midday AEDT this Thursday, December 01.
