Aussie favourites Kasey Chambers and Bernard Fanning will visit regional centres as part of their ‘Sooner Or Later’ tour early next year.
The pair has worked together on different projects across the past decade, but this will be the first time they’ve headed out on tour together.
“After being asked the question about a double tour for a long time I’m so happy to say it’s finally here,” Kasey exclaims!
“This is not just two artists being thrown together to tour, but two friends who have a musical history to share-together and separately-through a night of different styles meeting in the middle. He’s my mate but I’m also his biggest fan, so touring with him in regional Australia is a career highlight for me.”
The tour sticks to the East Coast, with shows locked away in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and the ACT between the end of January and the end of February. It kicks off in Australia’s home of country music, Tamworth, on January 26.
Both will be performing tracks from their respective new albums; Bernard’s ‘Civil Dusk’ (which earned him the ARIA for Best Adult Contemporary Album last week) and upcoming ‘Brutal Dawn’ (currently due February 10) and Kasey’s new album ‘Dragonfly’ (due January 20).
