Just putting it out there… we reckon that The Griswolds’ new single ‘Out Of My Head’ is so strong, it could be the track to break them.
We’ve been featuring the Sydney outfit intermittently right since their inception with ‘Mississippi’ back in early 2012.
And while their tracks have been consistently good over the ensuing four years, mainstream success has so far eluded them.
That, however, may all be about to change with their latest earworm, ‘Out Of My Head’.
With a sound that’s ripe for arenas and a hook that should have radio programmers cowering in fear, ‘Out Of My Head’ is ready to explode onto the summer airwaves. Windows down, played loud.
It’s lifted from the boys’ recently released album ‘High Times For Low Lives’.
“We knew we wanted to make something a little bit different,” frontman Chris Whitehall says of the new LP.
“We wanted to be on the forefront of something new in the world of bands. Rap and R&B are two genres we love. We still listen to heaps of rock, eighties, and seventies, and all of these influences gel together to make the album what it is.”
