Here’s another Christmas cracker… gorgeous UK songstress Harriet and her beautiful festive track ‘Maybe This Christmas’.
She released the track as part of a Christmas EP a couple of years ago. At the time we said “vocal comparisons with the iconic Karen Carpenter are virtually assured; the lead single and title track, co-penned with Steve and the iconic Judie Tzuke, had us reminiscing about ‘Yesterday Once More’.”
Sprinkle in a little visual magic two years on, however, and you’ve got yourself a proper Christmas release.
It also becomes quite a personal piece, given most of the footage in it is of Harriet’s younger years.
It’s a gorgeous as the moment we first heard it. And if you’re a Carpenters fan, best you get on board.
