Time for another Christmas cracker; today it’s Karmin’s cover of Mariah’s classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
There’s pretty much nothing in the world more certain than a new cover version of Mariah Carey’s seminal festive hit popping up each year.
Different guises, different tempos, different vocal flourishes, different genres… This year, it fall to US pop duo Karmin to tackle the iconic song.
But Amy and Nick have put their own little R&B spin on things and have even thrown in a festive clip for good measure.
It’s essentially the pair on a stage. There’s a tree, there’s a moon, there are presents, there’s Amy looking smoking and Nick in his Christmas jumper.
It’s different, but still entirely likeable; testament to the strength of the original.
