UK superstar Ed Sheeran has confirmed the release of his third album ‘÷’ (Divide).
The follow-up to his critically acclaimed LPs ‘+’ and ‘x’ is set to arrived in early March and is helmed by the singles ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill’; the former breaking Adele’s one day streaming record for ‘Hello’, by smashing 7,940,950 streams within its 24 hours.
The tracks are shoo-ins for a one-two debut on tomorrow night’s ARIA charts.
“First off, what a week! The reaction to my new singles has been absolutely mind-blowing and I can’t thank you enough,” Ed enthused in a statement. “My new album ‘÷’ holds a very special place in my heart and I really believe this is my best work to date. I’ve been eager to get back and I couldn’t be more excited for March 03.”
