We’re seeing a pattern emerging here… Sir Elton John has announced another Aussie show, this time in Hobart.
On Tuesday, the legendary performer announced shows in both Cairns and Mackay as part of his ‘Once In A Lifetime’ tour.
Then yesterday, he updated the Aussie touring schedule by confirming a one-off show in Wollongong.
Today it’s Tasmania’s turn; Elton returning to the Tasmanian capital Hobart for his first show in the city in more than 25 years.
And it’s an intimate one too; the Derwent Entertainment Centre has a 7500 patron capacity.
“I played in Hobart twenty seven years ago… which I admit is far too long,” Elton says in a statement.
“I simply cannot wait to return to Tasmania and its wonderful audiences. My band and I are really looking forward to being in Australia this September – I love coming back.”
As with the shows in Cairns, Mackay and Wollongong, tickets will go on sale on Tuesday March 14.
