Not good news for reggae fans in Sydney and Melbourne, with confirmation that the Raggamuffin Allstars shows have been postponed.
Next weekend’s dates were due to be headlined by Shaggy (pictured) and feature the likes of New Zealand outfit Six60, The Wailers ftg. Julian Marley, Morgan Heritage and House Of Shem.
But due to weaker than anticipated ticket sales for the Raggamuffin Festival over in Auckland (which the performers were adding in the sidetrips to Australia off the back of), that event has been postponed. And, as a result, as have the local Raggamuffin Allstars shows.
At this stage, it’s anticipated that both shows will take place in November this year.
“We sincerely apologise for inconveniences caused by this decision. I can assure all that every aspect has been reviewed and this decision has not been made lightly,” Promoted Andrew McManus said in a statement.
