UK outfit The Wombats are the latest to throw their hat in the Groovin The Moo sideshows ring, confirming a trio of headline dates.
Upon being announced as part of the line-up for the revered music festival, the band said, “We cannot wait to get back to Australia and play at ‘Groovin’ The Moo’ again. It’s been six whole years since we played Groovin’ and have nothing but amazing memories from that trip! We look forward to making some new ones this year and to generally having a massive party with you all!!”
But the sideshows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth will coincide with the tenth anniversary of the release of their debut album ‘A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation’.
“Hey Australia, we thought whilst we were over it would be rude not to do some sideshows as we’re celebrating 10 years since the release of our first album! Our first baby is 10, we can’t believe how much he’s grown. We look forward to having a few massive birthday parties for the little blighter. Hope you can make it! – PS New music coming this year!”
Pre-sale tickets for the three gigs are live on the sales desk from 9am local time tomorrow, with general public tickets to follow at 9am local time on Friday February 10.
