Do not adjust your screens, Australia, you’re reading this right… ’80s pop superstars Bros will play a show in Sydney this year.
The one-off show at Qudos Bank Arena comes 29 years after the Goss brothers’ last Australian tour.
“BROS has been part of my life for 30 years,” Luke Goss said in a statement. “I’m deeply proud of BROS and our 1988 tour of Australia with thousands of fans greeting us every step of the way was an absolute highlight.”
“One of the most memorable moments for me in BROS was our Australian tour,” added Matt. “We were so welcomed, it felt like home and the fans were fantastic, we hope to see them all in Sydney this November.”
Amazingly, the brothers haven’t played on stage together in a staggering 28 years.
But they’ll do so with two shows at London’s O2 Arena in August before heading down under for the November 04 Sydney date.
They will, naturally, be rolling out the hits, including ‘I Owe You Nothing’, ‘I Quit’, ‘Too Much’, ‘Drop The Boy’ and the inimitable ‘When Will I Be Famous’.
A Telstra pre-sale commences at 9am on Tuesday May 02, while general public tickets hit the sales desk on Friday May 05 at midday.
