Eurovision 2017 is fast approaching (it kicks off two weeks on Tuesday, FYI), but how will Israel fare with their song?
Well a positive for them is the fact that they’re the last act to perform in the second semi final on Thursday May 11.
This means, of course, that the voters across Europe will have the Israeli single freshest in their minds.
Imri Ziv is the man tasked with bringing home the bacon (wait… that’s not Kosher) this year.
He’s a former contestant from the Israeli edition of ‘The Voice’.
He performed backing vocals for his country at the past two editions of Eurovision.
And in 2017, he steps out from the shadows to command the limelight for himself.
What we know from Eurovisions past is that the audience tends to like attractive young men and danceable songs.
What they’ll get from the Israeli entry in 2017 is an attractive young man and a danceable song.
So in that respect, it could do quite well.
