Meg Mac is set to trade ‘Low Blows’, with the confirmation of the mid-July release of her debut album.
The songstress has built a sizeable following over the past few years, thanks to her debut EP, national tours and radio support.
And that growing following has seen her recently ink a record deal Stateside.
Incidentally, it’s Stateside where most of the album was created; recorded in Texas and mixed in New York.
And, according to Meg, the album is relatively raw.
“Overall I wanted it to really feel like I was just singing in the room to you,” she explains. “So a lot of the vocal performances are live and unedited, it is hard to leave mistakes on a record but I think it was important to do that.”
It will drop into stores everywhere on Friday July 14. Lead single ‘Low Blows’ is out now.
