Superstar performer Shania Twain will release her first new album in 15 years later this year.
The singer experienced a mass of success throughout the 1990s with a succession of chart-topping singles.
Songs like ‘Man, I Feel Like A Woman’, ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, ‘You’re Still The One’ and ‘From This Moment On’ were radio staples.
But since her 2002 album ‘Up!’… nothing album-wise to get our chops around. Nothing, that is, until now.
Set to take one of the coveted swivelling chairs on the US season of ‘The Voice’, Shania will also release new music this year.
The lead single ‘Life’s About To Get Good’ is ready to drop in June.
“I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, ‘Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it’s so beautiful out,” Shania explains about the single. “I’m not in the mood to write a ‘feeling-sorry-for-myself’ song. You can’t have the good without the bad. And that’s what the song ended up being about.”
‘Life’s About To Get Good’ will be followed by the release of the new album in September.
Further details will be released soon.
