Tina Arena has confirmed a greatest hits tour, set to roll through cities and key regional centres from early September.
The singer will be celebrating 40 years in the business, rolling out the tracks that have made her famous, all in support of her about-to-be-released ‘Greatest Hits And Reinterpretations’ album.
From ‘Chains’ to ‘Sorrento Moon’, ‘Burn’ and ‘Symphony Of Life’ to more recent offerings from her acclaimed ‘Reset’ and ‘Eleven’ albums, there’ll be something for everyone at each of the 14 shows.
“Today I feel I have finally reached a place where I am 100% comfortable with who I am and I am free to enjoy my life and my work,” the singer said in a statement.
“The past forty years have indeed been a journey from innocence to understanding and I can’t wait to celebrate that with Australia.”
The ‘Innocence To Understanding’ tour (named after lyrics in her smash hit ‘Sorrento Moon’) kicks off at The Tivoli in Brisbane on September 06 before weaving through Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, New South Wales (again), the ACT, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. It finished up in Perth on October 06.
A fan club pre-sale goes live at 10am local time on Wednesday April 19, before general public tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday April 27.
