Damien Leith will reconnect with his 2015 album ‘Songs From Ireland’ on an extensive run of regional shows in October and November.
Gaelic classics such as ‘Molly Malone’, ‘Galway Girl’, ‘Wild Colonial Boy’ and, naturally, the inimitable ‘Danny Boy’ are all part of the setlist for the shows; the tour making stops in each of the five states (no territories, however).
“The music throughout the show is Irish music,” Damien explains. “There is a collection of songs that I have just loved for years. The band plays all the traditional instruments… fiddle, tin whistle, bodhran – it’s a real Irish experience.”
The tour kicks off at the Albury Entertainment Centre on Friday October 06 and tickets are on sale now.
