UK superstar Ed Sheeran has today added three more stadium shows to his upcoming Australian tour.
With the previously announced shows, Ed became the equal record holder for most stadium shows on a single Australia/New Zealand tour (tied with AC/DC).
Now, however, he’s smashed that number out of the ballpark, with four new shows announced; three here in Australia and one across the ditch.
“I’ve always loved coming to Australia and New Zealand. So many amazing musicians have toured there and I am humbled to have broken these records,” Ed said in a statement.
“This is now not only the biggest tour Frontier has promoted, but it’s the biggest tour in Australian and New Zealand touring history,” Frontier’s Michael Gudinski added.
Sydney gets a third ANZ Stadium show, Melbourne gets a fourth date at Etihad Stadium and Perth gets a second show at Perth Stadium.
Brilliantly, a strictly limited extra ticket release has been made possible in Brisbane; the extra tickets going on sale at 4pm local time this Thursday, June 01.
A Frontier pre-sale kicks off on Tuesday, while general public tickets go live on Thursday June 01, albeit at various times; Sydney at 2pm local time, Melbourne at 1pm local time and Perth at 1pm local time.
