True to his word, Ed Sheeran overnight confirmed details of his 2018 Aussie tour.
Set down for March next year, Ed will play stadiums in each of the five main capital cities, starting in the west on March 03.
All, of course, are in support of his massive No.1 album ‘÷’, which only lost its No.1 mantle over the weekend after eight weeks at the summit.
According to Frontier, Ed will perform these shows completely unaccompanied; just him, a guitar and effect pedals.
Naturally, he’ll be performing tracks from ‘÷’, but will also be breaking out some of the back catalogue favourites that made him famous.
Frontier members get access to a pre-sale kicking off on Tuesday May 16.
General public tickets are on sale on Tuesday May 23, albeit at staggered times across the country.
Melbourne’s the first to go (1pm local time), followed by Brisbane (2pm local time), Sydney (3pm local time), Adelaide (3:30pm local time) and Perth (3pm local time).
March 03 : Perth (Perth Stadium)
March 07 : Adelaide (Adelaide Oval)
March 10 : Melbourne (Etihad Stadium)
March 16 : Sydney (ANZ Stadium)
March 20 : Brisbane (Suncorp Stadium)
