We’ve continually heaped praise on Sydney outfit Panama since they burst onto the scene with ‘Magic’ back in early 2012.
And, to partially quote Glenn Medeiros, nothing’s gonna change our love for them. Not when they keep on putting out pop gems like their latest single ‘Hope For Something’.
Panama is helmed by Jarrah McLeary (he’s the guy in the pretty pictured above), and this single has the pundits raving; it’s even hit No.1 on the global Hype Machine chart. And it’s notched up more than 430,000 plays since it dropped.
Yes, it’s good. Very, very good.
And now it comes with an equally very very good music video.
“‘Hope For Something’ deals with finding the positives in life despite past mistakes and personal struggles,” Jarrah explains.
“I love how Ariel Fisher has brought this song to life, visually it’s extremely emotive to me, much like the music. By exploring how different people deal with loss she was able to capture the mood my lyrics have touched on. I love the dual story line aspect and the choreographed dance scenes.”
Like the song, it’s pretty damned special. Watch below.
