Ms Vera Blue is back with a new single called ‘Mended’ and has confirmed a national tour in support of it.
The single, the follow-up to the streaming hit ‘Private’, dropped at digital retail on Friday and, according to Vera, is a very special song.
“It was about a relationship that I had a few years ago,” she admits. “It had been a little while since we’d ended it and we hadn’t made amends, said we were sorry. It’s funny because you think the song is going to be about resolution, but we haven’t quite made it there yet.”
Vera’s debut album is due for release later in the year.
In the meantime, the flame-haired starlet has confirmed she’ll hit the road for a national tour in support of the new single.
Kicking off with her Splendour In The Grass appearance on July 21, the tour makes stops in all bar the Northern Territory, weaving its way across the country ’til early September.
Tickets for all shows are on sale at 10am local time today.
