Some of Australia’s favourite pop artists have contributed tracks to ‘Beautiful’, a new Carole King tribute album.
Guy Sebastian, Tina Arena, Dami Im, Stan Walker, Samantha Jade, Human Nature and many more all contribute the new compilation, which will drop in the middle of July.
Its release has been timed to coincide with the 46th anniversary of Carole’s iconic album ‘Tapestry’ hitting No.1 on the Billboard albums chart.
Tina Arena performs ‘So Far Away’, Guy Sebastian tackles ‘You’ve Got A Friend’, Samantha Jade is up front for ‘I Feel The Earth Move’ and Dami Im will cover ‘Will You Love Me Tomorrow’ (made famous by The Shirelles back in the ’60s).
“I feel so honoured to be a part of this album,” Dami says. “I have always been a huge Carole King fan and after seeing the production in London earlier this year I jumped at the opportunity.
“Carole King’s music has always inspired me, one of the greatest songwriters of our generation.”
