With her new single ‘Fallin’ flying high on the iTunes chart, Jessica Mauboy now reveals its official video.
The catalyst for its sudden stellar performance was Jess’s performance of the track on ‘The Voice’ over the weekend.
Up until then, it was destined for chart oblivion, having peaked at No.91.
Her vocals on ‘The Voice’, however, were pretty damned impressive and the song seems to have connected.
The track is a stripped back R&B-tinged ballad which highlights Jess’s incredible vocals, particularly in the choruses.
Jess has made a number of attempts to progress her sound in recent years; most have been met with resistance.
If ‘Fallin’ is the one that sticks and allows her to embark on the next phase of her career, we’re okay with that.
