That long-rumoured Paul McCartney Australian tour has been confirmed; the legendary performer due down under later this year.
Announced as part of a special Facebook stream earlier this hour, Sir Paul will bring the One On One tour to both Australia and New Zealand in Deccember.
It marks the first time Sir Paul has toured both countries in more than 24 years.
“We’ve been waiting to get back to Australia and New Zealand for years and now it’s finally happening,” he said in a statement.
“It is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to the concerts as we’ve always had such a brilliant time whenever we’ve been before so we know we are in for a treat. Can’t wait to see you and all rock out together.”
Stadium shows are locked in for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, with ticket sales staggered across Tuesday July 04.
The Melbourne show goes first (midday AEST), followed by Perth (11am local time), Brisbane (2pm AEST) and Sydney (5pm AEST).
Frontier members also get the pre-sale love from Thursday June 29.
