Aussie dance/pop songstress Starley is set to shine again, with her latest single ‘Touch Me’.
You may remember her from her top ten doubt platinum smash ‘Call On Me’, which yo-yoed around the charts in its latter weeks, proving it still commanded plenty of attention.
The track also achieved top ten success in more than 30 countries across the world and smashed the No.1 spot in Sweden, a country which arguably produces the best pop music in the world. It’s also been streamed more than half a billion times.
Now she’s back with a new groove… inspired by an old groove… by the band Groove Theory.
Remember the 1995 hit ‘Tell Me’? Then you’ll instantly find elements of this new single familiar.
“I happen to be friends with Bryce from Groove Theory and have always loved ‘Tell Me’, so I asked him if I could create a 2017 version,” Starley explains.
“With his blessing I got in the studio with my good friend and collaborator Hannibal Hector and rewrote it. Harry from Odd Mob and The Monsters and Strangerz produced it out and we ended up with a record on our hands.”
‘Touch Me’ is available at all digital providers now.
