It’s been four years in the making, but Vera Blue has confirmed the July release of her debut album ‘Perennial’.
Though yes, the artist formerly known as Celia Pavey has dropped an album previously, this will be her first under her new moniker.
The LP will comprise a dozen new recordings (14 on the digital edition), including ‘Private’ and latest single ‘Mended’, the video for which you can catch at the bottom of this article.
“‘Perennial’ is a term for plants that come back year after year, and I like to relate that to memory, feelings and emotions,” the singer explains.
“It’s what the record is all about; relationships can be very cyclical, or never-ending, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s just part of life.”
