Serial chart botherers The Chainsmokers are to tour Australia, locking in 2017 dates in four of our five biggest cities.
The pair (Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall) broke through with their 2014 smash ‘#Selfie’ (a top five hit down under).
They did it again with four time platinum smash ‘Roses’ the following year, before hitting again with ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ in 2016, hitting six times platinum.
They then brought us their No.1 smash ‘Closer’ (ten times platinum). There was ‘All We Know’ (double platinum), ‘Paris’ (also double platinum) and most recently ‘Something Just Like This’ with Coldplay (triple platinum).
Put plainly, the boys have clearly struck a chord with Aussie audiences.
So it’s no surprise to have them announcing their return to Australia later this year for a national tour.
