Say it ain’t so… Josh Pyke prepares to hang up his hat, confirming a regional farewell tour from November.
“After I’ve wrapped up this year’s shows both here and abroad, I’ve decided to go on hiatus from touring my own stuff for a while,” Josh explains.
“The last dozen years or so of touring have been wild and hugely rewarding, and now I’m keen to dig into some other creative projects. In the meantime, I can’t wait to play for you all for the rest of 2017!”
His national cities tour kicks off this Friday night at the Enmore in Sydney and wraps at Wrest Point in Hobart on August 26.
He’ll take a break for a month before embarking on said ‘Farewell’ tour, which kicks off at the Byron Bay Brewery on November 03.
A host of regional centres throughout the country follow through to the last show, slated for the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on Sunday December 10.
